Reasons for this writing

Why?

I have to find out if this is all true - my belief in the maker.

I have to find out if my idea, or an idea, that seems correct, can expand despite advancing age, lack of energy and various personal obstacles that existed and still exist.

I also have to find out if an entire life can lead to a point, this point....whether every decision and realization have a culmination in what I am doing...or is this all just a vanity or an illusion.

These are questions I need answers to. Writing is part of this culmination and if successful hints that everything done had a reason.

In response to you post on a "maker":

You should start by defining "maker" in order to determine is it exists. When using the conventional definition from the bible who created the planet, life and everything else in 7 days, I say no. If it might be something that created all that existed just before the Big Bang, I say it is possible. We do not have sufficient information to know at this time.

However, if you use the expression "believer" that enables the belief without actually knowing. Insufficient for me.

Hey M,

good to hear from you. Your comment makes me realize in the writing I wasn't specific enough. The writing is actually about my actions and protocol given I believe there is a maker.

The term maker I use because God is too synonymous with religion, so I vary it and come to it from different angles. Many have been 'godded' to death, altho sometimes it fits the bill.

There can be an above, whether one believes in the biblical account. There also can be an above who authored the design before the big bang.

Belief without full proof, well, life is full of that and is something that the individual has to see for themselves and jump when they are satisfied. On this plane, nothing can be fully proven, we can just approximate at best.

As alqays, a nice exchange. Your writings get me to contemplate issues more thoughtfully than I would otherwise so I appreciate them. Anon religious maker is possible as I said...think Star Trek dealt with a maker on an episode or more.
