Satisfying

Satisfying

When physically bothered recently by sinus difficulties I called up a neighbor who had similar problems and asked if they were feeling it.  The winds, pollens, gmo crops, grasses, spores, and molds build up at times and affect me along with others having a similar affliction.  Checking with someone else at least lets me know I am not being singled out and what I'm going through is in the normal realm, somewhat.

My friend spent about 10 seconds saying they are always bothered (not really a real answer) and then spoke about dressing and looking well.  Hardly the response I wanted.

Is it Florida?  A bunch of loose ends gathered in one place?  Or is it all over?  Or am I just out of the loop, outside the circle of balance and harmony in human relations that offers healthy and helpful responses?  Sometimes I receive a good response, often from a stranger, but I can't count on it.

Everyone is pushing beyond their scope, defending their turf, careful not to give up any ground, somewhat curious and needy but not willing to lose any control.

And while we quibble, not to sound paranoid, but I suspect the powers that be consolidate their position using confusion and red tape and doublespeak and allow the lowest levels of society to whittle away at what is left.

Oh, to find my way through this, with or without a friend.  To find a way to get and stay on course and know that it is so.  To find clarity and good vision in the middle of the fog.  To see what is true amidst all the lies and compromises.  That would be satisfying, truly satisfying.

Read your "blog" . In some ways we are alike. You and I go the extra mile for anyone who crosses our path, and expect the same in return, and of course are disappointed. ( am I correct?)
Tell me about the book you are putting together.

I m moving on Wednesday. Its a bigger job than I anticipated.Once things are settled we plan on visiting our son in New York and maybe Boynton in October for a few days. Yesterday today and tomorrow have been "Fall Like" rainy and cold only in the 50 s should be getting better by Tuesday.

Take good care of yourself, hope to see you soon.

hey j.

when the sun is out its been really warm here. a lot of rain lately too.

yes, u are very right per people crossing our path....I've felt it my whole life.

the book is about 300ppgs of my writings, all categorized in different subjects, plus about 100ppgs of drawings with accompanying poems. Its like a companion piece, something to have around and can read a page or two here and there. You can see a picture of it in the 'materials' on the website. Its complete now and we'll go from here. It has a good look and feel to it.

I'm also putting together a smaller book of memory sketches I did a number of years ago with comments. It's glimpses of life, observations and such.

u mentioned moving...ugh....but at least one sees progress. hard tho to pick and choose what to get rid of. didn't know your son was in NY. where?]

does sound a bit chilly up there, altho good for getting work done moving and so on.

good hearing from you and stay in touch and keep me informed.
