Loss of friendship
My fellow traveler, part time wanderer, seeker, searcher and friend for 20 years I see is a drinker. We don't really enjoy our talks anymore. He contends with me, yet kisses the a-ses of those he needs. I am not without flaws, but I don't deny them. I think of him from time to time. It was a loss. But I have to move and go on, and can't go backward. Still, it is sad that friendships don't work.
