At some point one has to engage in life, experience all facets of human experience. This doesn't mean you should go sky diving, but it does mean the whole range of human existence is there to be had. It all doesn't need to be fully experienced. Rather, a taste, a feel could be enough. You'll fill up with what you need. Life can be sad. Why? Because even the nice times, the comfortable times, end. When we engage life we can feel this in a million different ways. The conclusion is the same, but we become rich with experience and can accept this
sadness. Whether this happens at first in your life, later, gradually, it should just happen. The amount is not what we are after, but the attitude and quality is. With this attitude of engagement we can leap to engage what is beyond.
